About a month ago I was asked to help out on the Most Fierce Mascot Competition. I thought what the hell, easy enough.
Worst. Idea. Ever.
Not the concept itself, but we simply didn't have the appropriate polling technology in place to handle the endeavor -- and the massive amount of legitimate and illegitimate voting.
Since my name was on this I got your e-mails complaining about poll-tool issues and the issues have forwarded the calmly worded ones to the appropriate producers and IT men and women.
We'll get this resolved, I just hope you all don't lose faith in our ability to conduct a fun-spirited competition.
Ice Road Truckers
More Drew Sherwood screw ups, more Rick Yemm complaining and now Alex Debogorski is joining the ranks of inept drivers. The show is turning more into traditional reality programming than tough-guy competition to haul the most loads in a hostile environment. It barely keeps my attention these days as I find myself playing around with my finances (or lack thereof) using this mildly enjoyable web-based tool.
